This is the worst contraption I’ve ever experienced in my life! It took so long to get the darn thing open and now it won’t close. I was not expecting a rubrics cube When I purchased this. I’m shocked Lowe’s would sell this. .

Instructions are not clear on how to set code. Took me forever to figure out what the reset button was and then pressing down on it by itself doesn't work. You have to also hold down the release button and let go off it while pressing the reset button to get it to work. Theses carabineers feel really cheap as well.

I use this to secure my bag to fences at amusement parks. It’s enough to keep honest people honest which is what I was looking for. Resetting the code was easy. I have no idea why so many people struggled with it.

This carabiner lock is a piece of JUNK! Do not waste your time and money on it.

Setting a new combination

The instructions included are a bit unclear, here's how to set a new combination: 1. Open lock with the default combination. 2. Press a small tool (tweezers, paperclip) into the tiny, recessed button between the number tumblers and the hinge of the carabiner. Push it all the way, it will stick out the other side of the lock. 3. Set new combination. 4. Slide the button/bar back into the lock. 5. That's it, you are all set!
