Nice idea but...
Using the white bushings already installed, there was a about 1/4" of play in the drill. Contacting Milescraft, they suggested switching to the red bushings included. There was close to no play at all, however, the mechanism was hard to go up and down and would get stuck about half way down. Contacting Milescraft again, they said, in essence, that that is normal and if precise drilling was desired, I should spend $150 for their other drill guide. Upon closer investigation, it was discovere...
Centering is not accurate. The Bearings longer
I tried both sets of bearings. It doesn’t move up and down freely.
