The Midwest Tool Right Cut Offset Aviation Snip is designed to flow material away from the blades and position the user's hand above the material for best maneuverability when making long cuts or tight right curves. The offset tools feature GLIDETECH FORGED BLADES. The GLIDETECH FORGED BLADE manufacturing process produces unequaled strength, the longest-lasting edge life, and the most precise cutting action. Blades are hot drop-forged of molybdenum alloy steel for exceptional strength and durability and Austemper heat treated to best accept and hold their precision ground cutting edge. The blades cut completely from the pinch of the blades through their points. GLIDETECH Forged Blades have a heavy-duty double overwind spring and pivot on a Grade 8 bolt and if ever necessary, allowing them to be readjusted extending the performance of the tool. Equipped with KUSH'N-POWER compound leverage handles which multiplies the handle force to the cutting blades requiring the least amount of hand force while providing a soft, sturdy, and comfortable grip. Made in the USA!

Midwest makes the best aviation snips by far. The old iwiss ones (pre about 2015?) were good too but Midwest were great then and great now. Made in America. They also will send you replacement springs if you need them to get your tool working again by just reaching out to them. I already have a flat yellow and 45 degree yellow (center cut) but wanted to add the left and right 45s when I needed to cut some 24 gauge duct for a in-wall dryer vent.
