If you are wanting to just replace a fluorescent fixture with replaceable bulbs this is not it. These are integrated LEDs (with which I have no problem) this is simply not as advertised.

Great if you're looking for direct wire connection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before anything, had I known this was a direct wire, i wouldn't have gotten it. But that was completely my fault and not the company. I have not been able to install it to see how bright the light is but the product itself is very durable. You can easily take the cap off to access the wires yet it holds good when you close the cap also. It's not heavy so it holds up without worrying about it possibly falling down.

Easy install for great lighting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Metalux ST2 strip light replaced my old fluorescent lamp beautifully. It was easy to install using the instructions given. The light itself is bright without being harsh. Like the option to line up with other lamps if needed, although this 4 foot is enough for the basement area we needed it for.

Good work light

It is the only light in the room right now and it's doing a great job illuminating the space. I love that you can change the tone of the light. Right now it's on the "cool" setting which is perfect for work. It was a little finicky to put together though.

Nice and bright

It was even easy for me because I was replacing an old 4 foot light with it, so all I did was take out the wiring of the old fixture and put this one up.
