I have this Metabo battery and I'm so disappointed. It just died on me and now I can't use the saw. Mind you this charger was already the replacement after the original failed. Every time its plugged in it just flushes red constantly, all day.

Absolute game changer for larger tools!
This adapter is a game changer for larger / high power consumption tools like a miter saw or job site table saw. The convenience of running these tools off a battery is undeniable, but they also consume battery power much faster than smaller handheld tools. If you have power available, this adapter gives you the flexibility to use AC power for these stationary tools and reserve your batteries for the smaller tools where cordless functionality is crucial. One of those things it’s just nice to have!
Let’s say you’re going through batteries running your power hungry 36v tools? This accessory will save the day. Pairs well with my belt sander and circ saw. Pros: converting cordless to corded for prolong use. Cons: bulky. Dealing with a cord (there’s no way around, it is what it is), and a little pricey, unless you know where to look.

Corded Power - When you need it!
I bought this to use with our 36v Metabo miter saws and its fantastic. A little big (but they its an adapter) but otherwise no complaints. If you forget a battery or a charger, and you have this and an extension cord you are good to go!

Greatest Tool Idea EVER!

Its so great to be able to use when you are setting up for a while or when you need to have prolonged run time and use it on your cordless tools. Great idea! Nothing else like this. All coworkers are jealous that I cut the amount of tools I carry by half as I no longer have corded tools on the truck.

Great Backup for all my 36v tools
It’s great to have this adapter when either needing a little more power with some of the tools or when you run out of batteries and the job is not done this. Though I mostly use the adapter with the table saw, I have used it on other and always happy with the performance and reliability of the adapter. The one negative I would give it is that it can over heat sometimes with the table saw when cutting hard woods that requires a mitre cut.

However, this adapter allows you to run what was a cordless tool a corded tool with all day power. Now you dont use this every day, but its invaluable to have for your circular saw at the saw horses for sheet goods, or a miter saw, or a table saw.
