Metabo HPT introduces the first cordless-corded solution that meets the power output demand on a jobsite. MultiVolt offers the power of a corded tool, the freedom of a cordless platform and the choice to operate all MultiVolt tools with a battery or plug into an outlet. Metabo HPT batteries use 21700 cells, delivering 1,440+watts of power, similar to 120V-15amp corded power tools. This allows for greater power and approximately 46% more capacity. The battery delivers 4 Ah of runtime in the Metabo HPT 36 V platform and 8 Ah of runtime in the Hitachi-Metabo HPT 18V platform. Cordless or corded-you decide.

What Customers Are Saying

The Metabo HPT battery charger offers fast charging capabilities, especially for larger 36V Multivolt batteries. It features convenient functions like a USB port, cooling fan, and LED indicators. The charger is compatible with both 18V and 36V batteries, allowing users to charge all their tools with a single unit. While some customers reported issues with the USB port or charger failure, the product is generally well-made and considered a valuable addition to the Metabo HPT cordless tool system by many users.

The 18/36 batteries are excellent if priced right

I’ve been very pleased with the Metabo tools that I have been testing and reviewing. The same holds true for their batteries. So far I have had great power in my saws and longer runtime than I originally anticipated. The prices have been fair and whenever Lowe’s runs a deal with them I try to grab another one for the future. Sadly I don’t think Metabo is being marketed as well as they should be and they have minimal shelf space in store but their tools and batteries are nothing to sleep on.

Very poor quality, I don't recommend them or that

Would Not Recommend

I bought this product repeatedly thinking they were better quality, but to date I've bought about 8 batteries and it's the same with all of them: very poor quality. The tools themselves are fine, but the batteries are terrible; their lifespan is very shor

Powerful battery

When I bought my metabo hpt track saw it came with a 4.0AH/8.0A battery. I needed another so I decided to get another one so I can have to heavy duty batteries if one dies out. This battery adds an extra punch to my track saw and I think it is the perfect battery to use with your track saw and other heavy duty cordless saws and drills so you can have that extra power and that extra run time. The battery does not make the saw big down at all and runs for a good while before I have to change it. T...
