Awesome saw
Bought this saw and it is great. You have to tweak it a little to get it perfect, but pretty close right out of the box. This replaced a different saw and it is a great upgrade. The slide works well and the fact that I can put against a wall saves so much room.

This saw is a BEAST!
I bought this saw to replace my old craftsman single bevel saw. It surpasses it in so many ways. First off dual bevel, that speaks for itself, but the ease of use of the dual beveling option is where it shines here. Second the light system is impeccable. Perfect cuts everytime, and I didn't mention but it was square right out of the box!!! Lastly. Power! This thing cuts anything from thin stock to 4x4 posts like a hot knife through butter even with the stock blade. The only down side to this sa...

Great performer
I have had this saw for over a year now in my small shop and it has performed very well. The side sliding feature allows me to use this on a 2' deep table against a wall. Not overly heavy when I need to move it to a jobsite.

does it cut? yes. does it have power? yes. is it a total pain in to adjust to cut square? YES! I wish I loved this saw but I don't. There is so much wiggle in the stops at 0 that if you aren't careful it cuts quite a few degees out of square. Also the bevel adjust goes out so frequently that I find myself using a quick square and manually adjusting the vertical angle rather than trusting the 0 position. I feel like while it does a lot right, Metabo completely missed the mark making sure this saw...

Best Miter Saw on the market!
I have only had 2 miter saws my entire professional career. I am a contractor with over 25 years of home building and custom kitchen/bath business.. Metabo miter saws have been in my shop and job site since the early 2000s and they are still going today. And when these break down.. I will be buying another one!!
