Fantastic performance and durability

I've been using this thing for a little over a year. It's never given me problems once. I frequently use it for drilling anchor screws into concrete. The dust extractor does a great job keeping the holes clean and eliminates the need for me to blow them out (I also drill a half in deeper to be safe). All in all, I've really put this thing through the paces and it's never let me down.

Superb SDS with Batteries and plug in abilities.

this SDS has saved my butt a few times over now, I rented one for a weekend that ended up costing the same as if I had bought this in the first place. If you have any other metabo battery tools this is an easy buy.

Great ergonomics

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to install a door threshold in concrete and did a great job. I also have used it now to mount hose hangers and gutter straps on my house. Also used it for some low voltage cable penetrations. It really is like butter. Make sure you switch to rotary only when hitting rebar!

Awesome SDS plus

Bought this to do punch some holes in my garage slab for a hoist as well chisel out tiles in a few houses I'm working on. Could not be happier with this thing. It's light and nice to hold, tons of power for what I use it for. Started swapping from Ridgid to Metabo and I would never go back.. Just buy it... You won't regret it.

Good power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this last summer to put up new house and garage. Has had no problem drilling holes for ¼",⅜" & ½" anchors. 36v battery lasts surprisingly long.

Quality tool and good value

Been really happy with this SDS drill. Usually buy Milwaukee but this has the same or better features and liked the feel of the chuck and the grip more. Gone through any concrete I’ve had to drill like butter

Saved me so much time/effort

I needed to drill/tapcon a ~1,300sqft basement subfloor. This made the entire job a breeze. Almost no effort was needed and drilling only took a couple of seconds vs about half a minute with my smaller hammer drill. Battery life was excellent. I was able to finish the job with only two 4/8Ah batteries. This tool was certainly overkill for the job, but I'm so glad I had it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first one shipped was DOA. The safety feature disabled the whole thing. The replacement was quickly tested and then put to work. It’s great in every scenario you would use a corded tool—completely, except you aren’t dragging a cord. I used it drilling old concrete with a 5/8 bit and it goes through 4" in moments with barely any pressure. Chipping is awesome and drama free, with little fatigue. The vibration isolation works well.
