Covered by Metabo HPT's lifetime lithium ion tool warranty, the CR18DSLP4 (tool body only) combines comfort and convenience with the fade free power, lighter weight and longer total battery life that comes from lithium ion battery power. It is compatible with all Metabo HPT's 18 Volt lithium ion slide-type batteries (sold separately), and is capable of generating a no-load speed of 2,100 SPM with a 1-1/8-In stroke length. The lightweight design (just 7.3 lbs) coupled with its compact size and soft grip handle make this cordless reciprocating saw easy to use all day. An LED light illuminates the cutting path for use in dark spaces, the tool-less blade change system is quick and convenient, and a battery charge indicator light warns when the run time is getting low to reduce unexpected downtime.

I bought this to remodel my barn

I bought this to remodel my barn but use it for so much more . I have used this tool to cut down small trees , helped remodel my back deck ,cut up some old pallets , cut out studs and drywall to add a recessed medicine cabinet in my bathroom. Great power,low vibration , and battery lasts a long time .Also very easy to change the blade !

Great Recip Saw

Would Recommend

We use this resets all to do some demo in our master bathroom, but lately I've been using it to trim and prune some trees and bushes around my house. We recently had two trees that fell and this resets all made short work of them. I do wish that the battery life was a little bit longer but I have heard that is fixed with the Multi-Volt offerings.
