Like all Melnor garden timers, this one is easy to setup. I own about a dozen lawn timers and the ones that keep on running are from Melnor. Whatever they did in their design just beats the other manufacturers. The user interface is consistent whether it's the 4-channel or single-channel unit. Highly recommend.
