Ease

It was simple to install but needs a hose clamp for the drain hose on the sink side and not a zip tie.

Leaked on day 1

The water inlet was cracked from the factory, resulting in a slow leak. I'm replacing the cheap plastic inlet with a metal coupler as it should have been from the start. Aside from the obvious product defect, it makes ice. I won't buy another one.

Great ice maker

I read a lot of negative reviews before purchasing this ice maker but we have not had any problems with ours. Our friend had one and she was happy with it so we went ahead and purchased it regardless of the negative reviews. We knew that the ice kind of dropped in sheets and you have to chop it a little bit with the scoop they provide. We had it installed by a plumber and have not had any problems.

Don't buy anything Maxx ICE.

The only reason I bought it was because it's a little smaller than standard. The bin full switch broken out of the box. This is the second one I've owned, never again. Customer service is terrible, parts hard to get and they are garbage overall.

Produces sheets of 1 x 1 inch ice.

It looks like a good, reliable icemaker. The only think I don't really like about it is that it puts out the ice in big sheets, so you have to break them up. And, the ice falls into a plastic bin, so it doesn't hold as much ice as the previous icemaker I had. But, overall, I am happy with it.

Bad delivery and dented

It was dropped off in my garage No signing for it and no time for inspection It was for a lake house I get it to lake house and it has a dent in it . I sure hope it works

dont use fedex

fedex deliver it bent up , lowes told me that if it works they would give me a discount , hooked it up and it worked fine , next morning floor was soaked water coming out from under cabnet, had a plumber hook it up cost 200 $ now i will out another 200
