we have only used this machine 4 times in 2 years and it's broken. did contact warranty "sorry out of warranty" This cost a fortune and we had thought it would last and last. This is our 2nd machine and I will not purchase another.

Mold growing inside ice crusher
I got this for xmas a year ago and while I love it, I have quit using the ice crusher on top because the metal ring under the hopper has mold growing on it and it won't come apart to clean it. I now put the ice in the pitcher. I can't believe such an expensive machine has such a huge flaw.

Defective in Less than a Year.
I purchased the item on June 7, 2018. I used it a couple of times last summer; worked great, loved it. I even purchased the travel case so that I could keep it nice when I stored it. However, last Saturday night, May 17, 2019, I tried using it while hosting a party and the machine leaked a lot of Margarita from the bottom of the drink dispenser and water from the bottom of the machine under the metal plate. Ice doesn't feed correctly
This machine doesn't work well at all. Either the ice doesn't shave correctly or the spout to the pitcher is too small and clogs. I wind up having to run it multiple times to get a half pitcher. I do not recommend.
