Photo is a bit misleading...

The photo led me to expect this product to handle more like a blanket, but I had no trouble making it work to seal off an opening in my attic that was allowing outside air in. It is a lightweight, rigid panel that comes with amazingly adhesive strips!

Glue will not hold on Velcro had to buy liquid nails to hold it up.

Poor adhesion to silver side

My Velcro will not stick to the silver side of insulation and has completely off.

Poor adhesive - doesn’t stick long

I should have read the reviews, this garbage product falls off after a few hours. I guess I’ll go buy some glue.

Headache!!

Put this up last week but the glue on the Velcro does not adhere to the plastic sheet very well. It will only stay up about 6 hours before it starts falling down. I bought some epoxy to fix it right. Now it stays up.

The velcro adhesive strips would not stick to the material so I ended up having to screw the cover into place on the frame.

insulation fabric

sale man had the right ideal in directing us to this new product. Ease between roof & porch was getting ice jams..we removed the fauct and found a no foam insulation in between trusts & also vent tubing not insulated. trying to figure out how to do all the cutting & fitting - the saleman figured this would work with wrap & staple close. Awesome.

Blanket is good

After installing blanket, a noticeable difference was felt. Downside: adhesive does not stick well to blanket & tends to fall down unless adhered by epoxy.

Poor adhesive

To use this product, you must cut the insulator pad material to fit your attic fan opening, and then attach self-stick the two halves of Velcro tape around the edges of both the pad and the frame of your attic fan. Unfortunately the peel-and-stick adhesive on the Velcro won't stay stuck to the reflective side of the insulation pad. Consequently, this thing keeps falling off of the ceiling every few hours. Returned for a refund.

Does a good job of blocking the draft

I purchased this product to cover up the louvers of our home's Whole House Fan and block the draft of cold air from the attic in the winter and the hot air in the attic during the summer when we don't use the fan. Although I haven't yet used it during the summer months, it has been doing a fine job of blocking the draft of cold air so far this winter. -The white side is not terribly unsightly, even with its slight "wrinkle" look.
