It was a pleasant surprise to find the spline was included, as it was only in very fine print in the picture on the description. I've still no idea what the pull tabs are for though.

Works great for areas up to 4 ft missing screens, need only to purchase roller tool , but,take note.. the wider the length or width the more it will bow in middle installing screen really needs a center support for over 32 inches

I have old aluminum window frames circa 1960’s. It looks like 5/16” might fit but the frames seem splayed/bent out like 5-16” was forced into the space. Is there a screen out there that fits these very narrow/old windows??
