High end look
I thought buying a dimmer would be easy but I ended up spending an entire afternoon comparing products. I’m so glad I chose the Maestro model. We needed a slim profile for a small junction box full of wire bundles, and this switch did fit. We had to sort out some confusion though because our 1960s house has updated electrical, so we did have a neutral wire plus a red wire (not red/white stripe just solid). If you have a similar setup, hopefully this will save you some time. To install the Maes...
Should work with newer and older technology LEDs
My previous dimmer( installed 6 yrs ago) would not work with a new 40 watt overhead light. It would flicker and flash. This dimmer uses a newer technology that seems to be compatible with the new generation of overhead lights that use pulse width modulation to excite the LEDs. And I love the way it ramps down when you turn it off. Nice touch! It feels high-end expensive.

Can control up to 9 locations on the circuit!
Have used them in my homes for years. The electronics are top drawer and the be able to have up to 9 locations for control is mental! Must admit that they threw my electrician a curveball initially but reading the installation directions pointed out the mistake. 😂

I should’ve taken it back.
Didn’t work with my dimmable led lights. I could buy a $60 version that looks the same that would work, but I couldn’t turn off my dimmable LED rope lights.
