First time ever I used this type plug. I am yet to find all its features. I gave this Outdoor Smart Plug to my son who is in contrction business. I did not take photos.
Easy setup
This is incredibly simple to setup and use. There aren’t printed instructions, but the QR code works. We’re using this for outdoor lights, but plan to add a few more hook ups for other things too.
Black Outdoor 120 Volt Outlet
It was use at the back yard patio. It works good but it would have been better with more connections. Very light weight. Maybe the plug to the wall a little better for better adjustment to the wall.
Make your exterior lights and decorations easy
I have powered items that we use during the holidays. Getting out there to plug or unplug them is not always the best weather, time of day or simply I forget. This is a very heavy duty cord, watherproof housing and is controlled by pushing the power button or my favorite feature using the app. I can use the app to set up schedules or turn on and off. This is going to make holliday lights and inflatables alot more easier on me.
Caseta outdoor smart plug
The Caseta smart outdoor plug in switch is IP66 rated to operate in severe weather and dusty environments. When paired with the Caseta smart hub and Lutron app, you can setup routines to turn it on and off as well through the app. The plug has a lighted switch on it to turn it on manually if desired. It also has mounting holes to secure it to a wall for a more permanent installation.
Wireless outdoor smart plug
This outdoor smart plug is fine. You can use indoor or outdoor. You do need the Lutron Caseta system for wireless control. I have the smart hub and tried to set it up. The choice that it was giving me to name a device was not what I wanted. I did plug a camera into it and turned on and off and it worked. The good thing is it’s insulated so it will work outside.
Outdoor Smart Plug
I am using the outdoor smart plug to control the lights on my porch. You can control directly from the on off button on the switch but in order to use remotely use must integrate with the Caseta Smart Bridge which I also have. You need to download the app on your phone and connect the plug. That being done you can turn on and off from any location. The product is very durable. The only downside to the product is it can get quite pricy considering you need to purchase other components.
Caseta Wireless Outdoor Smart Plug
This smart plug is designed to be used outside and will withstand the elements. It can be used with up to 15A of lighting loads or motors up to 1/2 horsepower. The directions say to mount it so the cord is at least 3” off the ground/floor. Good wireless outdoor smart plug
The he exterior plug is durable and is waterproof. It appears to have a robust build and provided good wireless range. The setup was easy. The plug only offers one electrical connection which is a negative.
