So there wasn't a light for above my front door that matched the sconces by the driveway so I had to go plain. My electrician told me that this light was going to be really bright. Isn't that what you want over your front door at night? I don't know if the people across the street hate me because my porch light is keeping them awake, I also don't really know if I would care. The point of a porch light is for safety. The more light the better. It's really nice
