Missing an obvious knockout hole option.
There is only one knockout for wiring on the housing, and it is exposed. If I want to wire it with concealed wiring, which I do, I have to drill my own 1/2" hole for the wire entry on the underside. Doable, but the manufacturer could have easily put a knockout there for such an easily anticipatable option.

If the connector is white and the cover is black, why not just paint white over the cover?
