TAPE Might be needed!

The best thing about the Fluorescent Bulb Guard/Clear Bulb Guard was that it fit perfectly. Yes, the type I needed was 8ft. Which made it difficult to handle getting in the vehicle and back to wear it needed to be installed. But the caps on the end came off easily, and installation was not difficult with some help from co-workers. Tape was needed to keep the caps on the end, but was no big deal.

I cannot use these at all as they were totally damaged. They were delivered in nothing more than a plastic bag. I had ordered 6 of the 4 ft versions that were shipped in a box within a box that were absolutely perfect.

Out of the 8 I ordered, 5 were bent and crimped beyond use. All 8 were so dirty that I didn't want to touch them. And several were missing their end caps.

ATTENTION DIY'ers - MORE THAN JUST A BULB GUARD!!

Purchased for a DIY project - not for intended use. The clear plastic tubes make for great chimney hoods for battery operated candle displays. They are crystal clear and rigid enough to cover a taper candle and sit firmly in a PVC connector for a candelabra display. Easy to cut with standard scissors to size, takes on any additional decor ideas (glitter, rhinestones, etc.) with ease. And you can't beat the price over real glass hoods or even acrylic tubes.
