What Customers Are Saying

The dishwasher is generally well-received, with praise for its cleaning performance, quiet operation, and quality construction. It is described as easy to use, with intuitive controls and a range of useful wash cycles. The stainless steel interior is also highlighted as a desirable feature. However, some users have experienced issues with poor drying performance, overly sensitive touch controls, and challenges with the installation process. A few reviewers also found the dishwasher to be louder than expected.

Pass on this dishwasher

2nd year running the LDFC2423V dishwasher using Cascade Platinum Plus. From the get-go it threw bE error codes frequently in the NORMAL cycle (even if we had cleaned the filter and/or run a bowl of milk cycle just before washing as recommended in the manual). And there's no indication of where in the wash cycle it bogged down. We finally discovered that the AUTO and TURBO cycles ran to completion without any error code; those cycles are noisy but at least we're able to wash dishes. Seems like so...

Upper and lower disk racks rusted through after 1y

Would Not Recommend

After a year of use, the upper and lower disk racks rusted through. The replacements for them cost more than 3/4 the price of a new dishwasher! What use is a stainless steel tub when the racks rust so easily.

Another LG winner!

Cleans well, a bit noisy, but noise doesnt last long! LOVE the "turbo" function, as it shortens the cycle!

Always enjoy getting a new appliance!

Would Recommend

So far it works well. A bit louder than expected, but not a big deal. Fits in the previous dishwasher space a bit awkwardly. We had to make some adjustments. I always open the door an inch or two after wash cycle is complete. The dishes dry quicker that way.

The picture of the dishwasher looks more like a silver stainless steel the one that was just delivered and installed looks more of a dark gray stainless steel. Doesn't match the rest of my LG appliances. Very disappointed
