Makes many loud obnoxious noises. Takes forever to dry! Stacked on the washer it hangs 2"over front of washer making it difficult to use soap dispenser

It's ok
Drum is small so many more loads. Cycles are really long. Thank goodness for the Speed Wash cycle

No longer works after a few years
We've had this driver for just under 4 yrs and the drying ability has gone down dramatically after the first 1-2 years of using it. We can no longer use this to dry towels or heavier fabric as they would come out smelling like mildew after several hours of poor drying. I've tried all the troubleshooting (condenser care, cleaning all the filter and drains), but none of this seem to work. After reading the existing reviews, this doesn't seem to be a one of issue. I've had other LG W/D units in the...

Mostly good, one design flaw…
We’ve had this washer for four years. We’ve replaced the hose from the detergent tray to the drum twice, because the drum rubs the hose and eventually it wears a hole and causes a leak. LG put a foam pad on the drum to prevent this, but it doesn’t really fix the problem.

Not good
Dries poorly compared to gas dryers even when new and operating with all filters clean, water tank empty, and "Energy Saver" off. Its companion washer performs poorly compared even to a base model LG washer that is 10 years older, failing to get clothing as clean and free of odor as one would want. The fundamental design of these units is simply bad. They are ineffective and waste time and energy.

Current owner? Read this to solve your problems!!!
We moved into a condo with this dryer pre installed because its ventless. It was pretty much new. It worked fine at first but then like others have complained, it got worse and worse at drying over time and needed multiple cycles for many hours to dry one load of wash. Maybe I'm an idiot but I did not realize there are TWO lint filters in this dryer, the normal one that pulls out and then another inner lint filter in the same spot but deeper down, which doesn't look like it comes out but actuall...

Very dry clothes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little nervous to buy this product after reading some bad reviews saying the clothes did not dry. That has certainly not been my experience. If anything, it seems the sensor dry keeps drying after what I feel the clothes are completely dry and I will sometimes stop the dryer and take the clothes out. I have my dryer hooked up so that the water goes down the drain rather than collecting in the reservoir and this is really great. The ins...

Excellent dryer. Watch your drawstrings.
Really love this dryer. I needed a ventless dryer that would fit under the counter, and there aren't very many options. LG's good reputation with laundry appliances is ultimately what influenced my decision to go with this unit and the matching washer. Most of my loads take 1.5 hours, whether that's a mixed load, towels, or bedding. Very rarely I might have a load take 2+ hours, like thicker bedding or new towels that still have a lot of lint. I have it connected to the drain line, so the only ...

Great heat pump dryer meets/exceeds our needs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the LG DLHC1455W heat pump dryer to replace an older full-size gas dryer in our basement. While the LG dryer’s capacity is smaller than the dryer it replaced, we find that the dryer’s capacity more than meets our needs as a retired couple - there are just the two of us. We were approaching this purchase with two items in mind: 1) mature heat pump technology to avoid burning fossil fuel and/or electric resistive heating; and 2) red...

HELPFUL TIP
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TIP: Just want to say to all of those commenting that the dryer stopped drying their clothes and was leaking after 1 month . . . it did the same for me . . . but I know the solution! I was at my wits-end and so discouraged (I have had a lot of "dryer drama" over the past 5 years; this one was a replacement of a previous lemon (different brand/type)). As a last resort I "deep cleaned" the filters, and it totally fixed the problem! So now, abo...
