I simply removed my old deadbolt and replaced it with this lock and it was a perfect fit. I really love the touchscreen. You put in your own code and you can also set it up to read your fingerprint. It runs on 4 AA batteries with an emergency connection for a 9V that will activate the screen if you somehow let the batteries totally die.
