I've made 2 different orders, at 2 different locations, & at 2 different times. both orders were "done" incorrectly. If I order a specific color option from your website, I expect to receive that color. Who even sends un-tinted cans in an order? it's not even like they had to physically get it tinted. it showed 2 cans left in lime, I ordered 2 cans. the app still says there are 2 available BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T ACTUALLY PICK THE ORDER CORRECTLY. that doesnt even scan as the same barcode! Description of the chalkboard paint and colors are VERY misleading!! when I ordered the chalkboard paint I was under the impression that I was getting the color that was shown on my phone which was Iron Frost. When it arrived I opened it up and mixed it up over and over again only to realize that I didn't get what I wanted. so I ordered another quart of a different color hoping maybe I just got a bad quart? I then realized that what I received was just to table base!

not tinted!

I Ordered this paint to do a wall in my son's room when I finally received it they only sent me the base. it was white and not only that I could not easily get ahold of any one to fix it. I had to go in store.

I wish I’d taken heed to the bad reviews, this paint was bad from the start. Thinner than other brands I’ve used (waverly, Hobby something rustoleum & my own diy chalk paint. I added 1/4 cup of calcium carbonate to thicken and waited 2 days giving ample time to dissolve. Coverage is poor. I had to oaint 3 ciats of a celery green over 2 fresh coats of white. I was shooting for minimal distressing but had to repaint over areas that quickly presented the oak I burried under 5 coats of paint! Even m...

Great color!

Love this color! (This is more my fault than the paint's, but it does drip fade if the fan isn't kept on in the bathroom. Seems to come off slightly over time with water in the air. So probably not the best type of paint to use in small bathrooms with bad ventilation. Great everywhere else!)

Not Worth it.

Just a basic matt paint. No more matt than a regular flat paint but 4 times the price. Also, the color (Hermatite) that Lowes has advertised, is just the white paint that they mix the color when you pick up. I Ordered online, so I did not know this. If I did, I would have looked at other color choices.

Chalk paint

It’s not the best chalk paint, but it most certainly is not the worst. Cracked pepper is an excellent color choice. The paint itself is a little on the thin side. I did four coats and was happy with coverage. I top coated with poly because I wanted the added protection. Time will tell!

Least favorite chalk paint

I originally purchased this chalk paint to paint some wooden built-in bookcases because it was tintable, which was a bonus for me. However, I've used a few other brands of chalk paint and this Krylon paint is by far the worst. I followed the instructions to apply and actually waited almost 3 hours before applying a second coat, and the first coat still stripped off in some places. Use a Primer!

I purchased the white chalk paint to use on my grandparent’s 1950’s mahogany dresser that was handed down to my child. I sanded parts of the drawer where my child had etched the word “socks” and various other etchings. I put 4 coats and it was still obvious where I had sanded and the coverage was not that great.
