[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Painting a ski box to make it unique, I was worried that primer would not stick to the ABS plastic despite sanding it but this stuff sticks to it really well, it doesn’t even want to scratch off with a screwdriver. Glad I went with this option and I will be top coating it soon

needed red oxide primer

I needed red oxide primer and this on was on closeout. Krylon is a good brand.

Wheelbarrow from restored wood

Wheelbarrow was fabricated from scraps and a repurposed 80 year old wooden ladder.

Sad for Krylon

Krylon has gone downhill. This is a barely acceptable primer, but stay away from the rest of the Color Maxx line

Reliable product, impossible to read instructions

Works VERY well in most situations. BUT PLEASE, when you are designing your labels, stop stop STOOOOOP printing the instructions in a font that cannot be seen wit the naked eye. The dry time, recoat and cure times are not clearly stated [even if the information is complete]. It would help so much when Internet is not available or indeed, I shouldn't HAVE to use the internet to read about the methods of application, dry and cure times. That should be VERY clear on the can. Please take a look...

Krylon red oxide metal primer

Krylon is in my opinion the best brand of spray paint out there. It goes on smooth and dries quickly, even in colder than recommended temperatures. You can also clear the nozzle after use by turning the can upside down and spraying, which ensures it will work the next time. Note that you CAN NOT do this with Rustoleum.

Hope this paint is true about the hype

I sprayed this as a primer on almost bare metal on my GMC sierra1500SLE crew cab at night, from what I see it worked great. Wish I could find if it is sandable.

Paired petfectly with Satin Brick tone.

Beautiful tone that compliments the desert colors of my home.
