I've been on the fence about this one, surviving on just the single, manual pocket hold jig for a while. I finally bough this and it's so easy to use, lines up perfect holes every time, super quick and easy. The bit depth guides and markings are easy to read and make the necessary adjustments for different material thickness. My favorite piece is the sawdust drain holes (for lack of a better term). No more double-dip drilling to clear the compacted dust from the drill bit, it all falls through t...

Clamp twists the stock away from C
I noticed that I would keep having 1 screw sticking out when doing but joints. I thought maybe I'm just driving the screw to deep because I'm new to using this. Then I notice the C side kicks stock out about an 1/8". I noticed that the screw sticks out an 1/8". So I used a board and marked A C and then scribed a line and saw that the C side hole was an 1/8" lower. I contacted Kreg and they said that this is ok and that it won't cause the joint to be bad, but what about the 1/8" screw stick...
Easy to setup, Easy to duplicate results
I purchased the pocket hole jig to build a computer desk and in the future, kitchen cabinets. After seeing this setup used on a pro's you tube channel, I thought I would give it a try. Once setup properly, it will drill perfect pockets every time. I mounted the assembly to a scrap plywood board (20 x 20) and I clamp the board to whatever surface I am using for a table. It keeps everything sturdy and nothing moves during the drilling. The K4L screws are a must have and are inexpensive. The only n...

Excellent Product
This jig is really helpful and easy to use. Overall, it’s a great product. I keep that instruction booklet because I use that chart that tells what screw length to use all the time. It comes with everything you need to get started. I found I don’t even need a clamp to hold the jig down. I just hold the jig down myself a drill with the other hand. It’s really that easy. Technically, you don’t have to use kreg screws but I prefer them because they do help prevent splitting. I just wish they made a...
Stress saver
I had a small pocket hole jig that I had to clamp a piece of wood the wood I was drilling to use as a guide. Then I clamped the jig to the wood and drilled the hole. Unclamp the jig, move to new spot, clamp, drill. Rinse, repeat until done. Major pain in the neck (and arm and shoulder and back...). Took forever! Bought the Kreg Jig on sale and finished up the rest of the holes in about 10-15 minutes with no fuss. Once I finish building the workshop, I have a feeling that this will get even m...

Great time-saver without losing precision
I can't explain how convenient this thing is. I drilled 40+ pocket holes for a TV stand project in under 20 minutes! The built in spacing is perfect for any board 8" and below. You just clamp it on and rip right into it. Half of my holes were on framing that I had already assembled, and I had no issue clamping this on while it was hanging out in the breeze and drilling away. The adjustability for the clamp, jig height, and drill bit are all incredibly easy as well. I highly recommend this of a s...

Very helpful jig
This Is a very well built jig that makes making pocket hole joints a snap!! I have been using this jig for about a year now and just like everything else from kreg it's good quality and well built. If you have never done anything with pocket holes before a few quick observations: Pay attention to set up as it can take a few tries to get it right. Pick up at least one righ angle clamp as this makes things a lot easier. The dust collecting attachment is also nice as the wood chips tend to buil...
Great Jig
I used this to help make a small side table. This jig worked great. One word of caution though, make sure you have enough room on your project to be able to fit the length of the drill driver, bit, and screw. The width between the legs of the table was 11.25". The drill and bit didn't fit to tighten the screw. The radius of my 3" cordless drill bit extension was too big to fit into the pocket hole and I had to remove the sliding guide sleeve from the extension. Assembly of the table was fast and...

A must have for any amateur wood worker
I consider myself to be an amateur wood worker despite the fact that I made 30% of the furniture in my house. I used to use wood and clamps for projects and spend several weekends on a single piece of furniture. This product has allowed me to complete any project within a single day without any glues, clamps or overnight waiting. It is a very good idea to completely read the instructions. Sine it's purchase, I have made a set of patio furniture (table and end table), a headboard, home bar, islan...
Kreg Pocket Hole Jig bailed me out
I purchased the pocket hole jig to build corner benches for our daughter's newly remodeled kitchen. The project plans required that I create pocket holes and the Kreg fit the bill. It was virtually effortless to use, in fact it was rather enjoyable. There's no way I could have done it without the Kreg and would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a high quality and easy to use pocket hole jig.
