What Customers Are Saying
The product received mixed reviews, with some customers praising its quality, durability, and ease of use, describing it as a sturdy and well-built shovel. Positive features mentioned include large foot pads, a lightweight fiberglass handle, and a lifetime warranty. However, a significant number of customers reported issues with the shovel's quality and durability, such as the handle snapping, bending, or cracking, and the metal blade bending or breaking during use. The overall consensus suggests the shovel may be suitable for lighter tasks, but its quality and longevity are inconsistent.

Handle snapped in half and almost impaled me eye. Returned it for a Craftsman shovel and that handled digging the same hole without issue.

Love it!
I bought an Ames shovel at the Lowes competitor. The metal was so thin it flexed as you stepped on it. I returned it immediately. I bought this Kobalt shovel to replace it. 1000x better. Not only a great product, but I love the no hassle Lowe's lifetime warranty. Most manufacturers make you pay return shipment for them to honor their warranty. In this case I can just take it back to Lowe's if it does ever fail.

My wife is going to like this present. It weighs more than the dirt it can carry.
