Easy pressure adjustment

Can be installed permanently, temporary, portable

Works to reduce air volume (cfm). I mainly use this with my air chisel and my cutting tools. I primarily use this when I'm chiseling up old tile floors. Having the ability to reduce impact speed and force at my work location instead of at the air compressor is a huge time saver. I have this setup with a air hose plug and coupler, so i can move it between my cutting tools. This can be installed directly to the hose or tool (see photos).

Air valve

Flow adjuster, not pressure reducer…

I was confused when I order it. I was thinking that it was a pressure reducer but it was a flow adjustment valve. I don’t have any tools that could use this. ...little device. This is a well made solid brass thumb twist air cut off valve. Connect to your air hose at the tool end of the hose. Very handy to control the volume of air going through your air tool. It decreases the amount of air entering tool when you don't need the full amount to complete a task. Cleaning your garage/shop with less than maximum air flow is helpful for me.

The air flow adjustment is made of brass. I nice feature is the threaded end of the valve is covered with a thread sealer so no teflon tape is needed. It operates using a simple ball valve. The flow ajustment knob is a nice size and knurled so it's easy to use. The top of the knob is marked with min. and max, but in reality the markings are of little use.
