I picked up this blower as what was hopefully going to be an upgrade to my older 630cfm kobalt blower. Yes it's noticeably more powerful but there's been cost cutting everywhere. The plastic blower housing is thinner as is the blower nozzle which is flimsy compared to the older version and is difficult to assemble. It also is obnoxiously loud with a high pitched howl. I can already see this isn't going to be my go to hand blower like I had hoped. I really wish someone had mentioned these 2 big c...

I was going to buy a different brand blower then decided to get this one since I already had the batteries and charger. I'm overly impressed with this blower and it pushes more air than the average homeowner needs. I'd buy another one in a heartbeat!

1) Love the power of this machine! It's really impressive! 2) It's also adjustable to a much lighter amount, for blowing out the dust from my garage.3) It has the standard trigger for quick on-off, and it has an adjustable thumb lever that locks it on, so I don't have to use the trigger if I don't want to.4) It has a shorter tube, so I can use it in tighter spaces. 5) It's noticably more powerful than my son's Ego blower.

We have the older Kobalt 80V Model KHB 400B-06, 500 CFM, 125 MPH, that still works great. The 400B-06 model has a variable power selector that is useful for reducing power at startup and for using the trigger in areas requiring lower power, such as on wood chips or mulch. I was using the 400B to dry off my vehicles, but it was a bit too large, so I looked at the Ryobi One+ and this model. I have many Kobalt 80V tools and batteries, but I wasn't sure how the 800 CFM 200-MPH model would work. ...
