Brand new first time it cut our .25 acre lot with about half battery life to spare. Ever since then it won’t cut without at least one charge about 75% through the job. Now I either have to return or buy separate battery (another $80 to $100). Buyer beware. Not a quality product.

Great mower - with a corrective modification
This was my second Kobalt 21-inch self-propelled mower as the first one suffered a failure of the power-drive switch on the handle. The second mower had the same initial problem with the power-drive switch which was "sticking" in drive mode. I observed that the switch was getting stuck in the foam cushioning of the Handle. I trimmed down the top of the switch and viola! everything worked as one would expect. I hope Kobalt reads this as a sticking power-drive switch is DANGEROUS. Other than...

I have had my Kobalt 80V mower for over 7 years now and rate the mower itself as a Five Star. It still runs great, and the identical new mower is still available. But this year a rear wheel fell off.
