I bought this mattock earlier today to clean up some brush and roots. The blade bent almost immediately. I don’t know if this is just a bad batch but I will return it tomorrow.

Great tool! Perfect for turning up the soil after clearing it of heavy underbrush and trees. Pulls and chops all those stubborn roots so you can clear and prep the soil for whatever use you plan. Don't get me wrong, it can be hard work, but short of a big machine, and because a rototiller definitely would not work, this manual labor tool did the job. It may be a bit old fashioned , but it worked for me and was a great purchase!
