Kobalt Gen4 40-volt, 20-in Self Propelled Battery Walk Mower with (Battery and Charger Not Included)

Self propell problem

The self propell function would start and then quit. One year in and it doesn’t work anymore.

Struggles with mulching

The mower is light weight and overall is nice, but seems to struggle with mulching. It is like it needs to kick into a higher gear in thicker grass but does not have that option so it dies

Will not work out of the box

Full charge before even thinking about it, display says full battery, does nothing. I'll return it and get a brand that works out of the box

Kobalt Mower Doesn't Last

I took care of this mower, but here we are. Cannot handle thick grass, and needs 2 batteries to cut really anything at all. Of course new models don't use the same batteries, so $500 down the drain for a mower and 2 batteries than lasted less than 3 years. I wouldn't buy a Kobalt mower again.

Great quality and reliability!

Amazing and reliable! Had one and had to get another one for my business!

Metal deck

Got this for a great price under 100 dollars and self propelled

awesome mower

ready to use right out of the box. lowes had this mower on sale and I didnt hesitate to get one. I use to have a kobalt 40v mower before and loved it. I prefer gas mowers so I got a Honda HRX 217 push mower. now I got a back up and love the new look on them.
