Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
The reviews for this cordless lawn mower are mixed. Some customers found it easy to use, lightweight, and effective at cutting grass, especially in smaller yards. They appreciated the convenience of not dealing with fuel and maintenance. However, many reported issues with battery life and performance, especially in taller or wetter grass. Concerns were also raised about the overall quality and durability of the mower, with some parts breaking or stopping working after a short period of use. The mower may be suitable for small to medium-sized yards, but may not be powerful enough for larger or more demanding yards.

I have been buying batteries from lowes since they placed them for sale. I purchased a weed eater, blower and lawnmower. In the past 4 years .I have had 2 batteries go bad. I now have 3. I don’t run them down to zero lights. When only one power lite illumine ,I charge it. On the lawn mower.sometimes power indicator shows 4 lights ,but when installed mower it runs for 2 minutes and motor stops. On one of the old batteries,I disassembled it and there were 10 nimh batteries. One was dead. S...
Great Mower, Shoddy Batteries
I bought this mower (as well as a trimmer) about 4 months ago. We have a new home, so the first several months our sod didn't do much growing and didn't need much mowing but grass still had to be cut occasionally. Those first few months, the mower and trimmer worked like a dream. The battery lasted about 40 minutes as described. However, over the last several times trying to mow our yard, the battery has died after about 10 minutes and now is showing an indicator light signifying the batteri...
PURE JUNK!
I have used this blower three times, and each time it works on a full charge for about 6 minutes! Then it shuts off. I tried the battery in the hedge trimmers and it still had power. Soooo must be a faulty blower!

Working fine yesterday dead won't charge now.
I purchased this from Lowes almost two years ago. I've noticed that I get less and less time out of the battery. I have a small yard that I mow and weed wack weekly because if we don't we get fined by the HOA. I can only get 1/2 the work done stop and then recharge. This really ticks me off to the point where I am really disappointed that I spent my money on this product. My gas-powered tools never let me down like these do week after week.
Battery discharge in 10 min
I purchased the kaobolt 40v self propelled mower on 6/20/21. It worked great the first day, the battery lasted about 25 mim. The following week I put a fully charged battery in and started to cut my lawn, the battery lasted about 10 min. I had purchased a spare battery and put it fully charged into the mower, same results. I went to lowes because I thought the batteries were defective. they replaced the batteries and I charged them for 3 hrs. the batteries were fully charged, so I tried to cut t...

The total cost is ridiculous
Not only does this not come with a battery, the battery does not come with a way to charge it. This is like selling an electric vehicle without the battery or charge plug. Absolutely absurd and should be illegal. The battery and the way to charge the battery are sold separately and at the point that you've bought each component you'd be better off buying a better mower. Save your money and don't give into this insanity.
Less than 1+ years and it won't hold charge
This battery worked great when I first started using it with the Kobalt lawnmower. I would get about 40-45 mins on a charge. However, over the course of months the battery started to degrade VERY fast. Right now, I'm lucky if I get 10 minutes of use after a full 3+ hour charge. I had to mow my lawn over the courses of 5 sessions over a two day period because of this. I would just buy a similar or larger battery but Kobalt/Lowes doesn't even stock this battery anymore. I can't get a replacement n...
Don't buy get a gas one instead
Don't buy unless you have grass that doesn't get long doesn't get wet and have a super small lawn. its not worth the money your not saving anything the battery only lasts the full 30 min if you don't have long grass or wet grass and don't use the self propelled feature if any other condition the its like 10-15min. Its not as strong as a gas one it will stop many times during mowing one row of grass a gas one wont do that. A nother thing to consider is if the battery dies you have to wait like an...

Waste of Money
I had such high hopes for this mower when I bought it less than two months ago. Not to be! It cuts reasonably well - if it's running. I found that the slightest little dip in the lawn surface (my lawn is admittedly not perfectly flat) will cause it to stop. The same if there is even a little buildup of trimmings on the ground. The worst part, by far, is the battery. I tried to cut the lawn today and it lasted about 20 minutes. Then the battery becomes too hot to charge so you need to wai...

Junk
Bought this mower to try it out as an alternative to fuel fed mower. Returned it within four days. This thing is a piece of junk. Battery does not last longer than 15 minutes, mower bogs down and dies on grass less than 4 inches in length, and dies every thirty seconds when you can get it to mow. The following picture shows how far I got with this mower. That’s about three passes. Then the battery was spent. Didn’t last longer than 15 minutes and struggled to make those three passes. I wouldn’t ...
