Great little router. I’ve cutout a couple doors and windows over the last couple days and here’s my thoughts: Pros: - Great power. The 24V Kobalt system always excels in the rotary tools. You can just feel the difference between these and the 18V brands. - Very balanced. Super easy to hold and maneuver. - Good battery life. Used the 2A and didn’t have to change it for the 4+ cuts. If you’re using it all day, I’d definitely have the 4A around. Cons: - Really wish the bit release wrench attached t...

Depth lock needs more engineering
the router seems powerful enough two problems however. The depth lock is difficult to tighten and is hard for it to secure itself. The bit wanders downward when in use. the base area is so closed in that it's difficult to keep your eye on the bit while you're using it.
