Has done well for me.
I've used this saw for roughly 3 years in an industrial/commercial environment. It's still doing well. The complaints about the blades breaking usually have little to do with the saw itself, barring one off tool defects that may occur. Band saw blades are just finicky, no matter the brand saw.

My new Kobalt bandsaw
I have been shopping for a new portable bandsaw and reviewed many online. I decided to go with Kobalt because I have many other Kobalt tools and batteries, and I’ve had really good results from all these. I like the size it’s a light enough to use one handed, has a rafter hook if you’re working up over your head. I do wish it had a second handle when using it on the bench. Overall, I like it a lot!

Faster than Hercules and Dewalt
I got the Kobalt band saw over a year ago and work great and I used it a lot. I have a Hercules and my brother has a DeWalt and the Kobalt is a lot faster GREAT SAW

blade killer
I have broken 5 blades in this saw.there is no adjustment on blade tension.i believe the problem is the blade is way to tight it causes the blade to stress and crack.i put mine on the shelf till I can return it to lowes to trade it in on a different product.waste of money....
