Had it for over 2 years, we have used with all kinds of paints and very frequent with no issues. Understanding the material you're working with and clean ups are key for the best results. We're a professional cabinet maker for residential and commercial, and it has always met our expectations with all kinds of primers, paints, sealers and top coats. Just bought our 2nd one for back up. Super simple to clean.

Decent gun for lacquer

I've used this gun a number of times shooting lacquer and it works fine. Most of the negative reviews are in regards to not being able to spray latex paint, even when thinned. It says right in the description that it's not intended for use with latex paint, so...that on the user, not the gun.
