This Knape & Vogt SCB series double waste and recycling bins unit features two 35 qt white bins held in place on a sliding frame. A specialized wire management system keeps bins secure while sliding in and out of the cabinet on Knape & Vogt heavy-duty, full-extension ball bearing slides. Unit closes gently and quietly with soft-close technology. The bottom-mount unit provides stability and is pre-assembled for fast installation. Installs easily with only 4 screws (included). Includes clip-on handle for easy removal of bins from the cabinet. Optional lids and door-mount bracket available (sold separately).

Broken Bin and how to complain?

When I opened this, I found one the bins broken. The fact that the only bits that I could find in the package do not equate to what is broken off, make me believe that this was placed in the package in a broken state; which with I was not impressed. Indeed, the bins themselves are actually made of a very brittle plastic so I'm not surprised it broke. Quite how they are supposed to be used for re-cycling bottle and cans and such, I don't know, they'll fall to bits. But what concerns me was the ...

The only problem I had was in getting the mounting brackets for front mount door. The ad showing the front mount door stated all hardware included. This apparently did not included the L brackets and screws. It would have been good to know it needed to be ordered in addition to the unit.
