Cant loosen clamp with a blade in
Other reviewers have said that you can't open the clamp all the way with the blade in, and its true. I did not read any of the reviews before I purchased this and I regret it. Unless im doing something wrong with the clamp mechanism (which I doubt.) There's a bend on the clamp that hits the blade when you install it, if its not open to where the ledge is below the blade, the clamp is not open enough to insert a blade. Comfortable handle, had to modify clamp.
A little bit disappointed in this tool. I’ve always had good luck with this brand, which was the reason I chose this model. The handle is very comfortable. The problem is the clamp lever to hold the blade. In order to insert the blade, the lever needs to be all the way open, which makes it very difficult to get the blade in.
