Doesn’t fit
I bought this last week for my KitchenAid Classic Mixer (4.5 quart bowl). The shield is way too big! I can barely get the shield on the bowl when the bowl is off the mixer. When I try to put the shield on the bowl while the bowl is on the mixer-forget about it! The hole for the mixer is too small and touches the mixer when the it is down. Super disappointing!

Small lid
This came as an accessory and it's nice and all but it was very difficult to put on without using some type of force. The video makes it look easy but not at all Atleast with the cover that came with my mixer. I believe mine was defective it actually broke trying to remove it.

Wonderful design!
This is the best!!! I have used kitchen aid mixers all my life. I purchased one of these for my lift-bowl mixer because I was getting ingredients everywhere. This fits nicely and works well. No more ingredients all over the place.

I love this!!!
I had a pouring shield on my 4.5 qt tilt-head and when I went up to the 5 qt lift head I missed it. When I saw this on the Kitchenaid site I had to try it. It works wonderfully. No more flour all over the place. No more liquid all over the place. The design is great and the shielf stays put. The engineers did a wonderful job.

No more flour puffs
Finally no more flour all over me and the counter. This fits perfectly on my 5 quart stainless steel bowl and does. Or come off at the slightest touch like the previous model. And no I did not get a sweepstake entry or anything free for this review.

Doesn’t fit
I just received my kitchen aid and other attachments and products yesterday. Im checking to make sure everything works as it should and this doesn’t fit AT ALL. It way off. I doubled checked that it was for 5 qt and it is. Then I double checked that what I have is 5 qt and I do. I came to check reviews and see that I am not alone. Im bummed because this would be very useful for me.
