Very inconsistent toasting

It takes way too long to toast anything. The toasting is way too inconsistent with the same product. It seems the bagel option is on all the time, the front side is hardly ever toasted. I do alot od sourdough and 1 side is toasted and the other is not. i emailed ABT yesterday and asked for a replacement!

Great features

I love this toaster! I tried another brand name toaster but the lever wouldn't stay down and returned it. A friend liked her KitchenAid toaster so I bought one. So glad I did. I particularly like the cancel button. I make all my own bread and the slots accommodate taller bread which I also appreciate. So glad I purchased this one.

I was always a Hamilton Beach supporter. They made the small appliances in my hometown of Waterbury, CT. Like some many other companies they left the country and went overseas. Simple fact, cheap items, don’t last, cause fires. Very happy with our Kitchen Aid toaster.

Good toaster, annoying alarm

Toaster works really well but has an annoying very loud high pitched alarm when toast is done. This alarm cannot be turned off or turned down.
