I have paid for this product in full, but will not recieve it until January 2022. That does not even make sense. I could see putting a deposit on the product to reserve it for me, but my money is gone and I have nothing to show for it.

Nothing but trouble
I feel like I should charge Kitchenaid for all the time we've spent trying to fix this lemon. This is the second KitchenAid ice maker we've had, and they both have been pretty-much duds (don't know why we bought the second one for our new house only 5 years ago). Bad compressor (again), and not even worth fixing. Never again. You've been warned.

Horrible product that consistently has problems
Bought the first one, compressor failed within a month. They wanted to repair, I insisted on a new one. The second one (replaced under arguing no wanting a repaired item for 2000 new and only a month old) had the compressor start capacitor fail, then the water solenoid, then the ice fill thermistor.
