Kalamera 3.5-cu ft Garage Ready Chest Freezer ( Black ) ENERGY STAR Certified

Won't get cold enough to use

Has not cooled enough to use since day one and so after more than a week of trying all the troubleshooting I contacted the local Lowes store and was told to contact the manufacturer and they told me that they can only replace the parts and that they will send me the part and give me a tutorial on how to replace it. What? I'm not even sure what part needs to be fixed. You only have 48 hours to refund it locally and yet it takes 48 to know if it's even going to get cold enough to use. It doesn't e...

Bad delivery experience

This product is great! Customer service in the store to place order was awesome! Cody was really helpful and nice personality! Frezer got cold really quick and looks great, perfect size to supplement my freezer on fridge. I love it's garage ready. The issue I had was with delivery. It got delayed twice and it was pushed so close to the time I was going out to town and I didn't want it to be delivered and sit outside until I returned. Then the delivery guy puts it off in front of my garage...

No Warranty

I purchased the KCF-100 Kalamera chest freezer in September 2026 from Lowe's in Palm Springs, with a 3-year extended warranty. After returning home in mid-December from a business trip in October - November, I discovered the freezer was not working. The food in the freezer had spoiled, and the odor was so unpleasant that it took a week to air out my home. I reported the issue with Kalamera on December 22. They asked me to email my recipe along with a photograph of the freezer. I responded the sa...

Great Small Frezer

I have had this freezer since Jan 2024. Keeps consistent temperature and worked perfectly since I purchased. Only thing I wish it had was a thermometer. Bought a wireless on that I keep in the freezer, so I can monitor the temperature. I would recommend this item.

Cute little freezer, but lots of space!

I liked how quickly it arrived, and that it had free shipping. I does seem a bit flimsy, but I bought an additional warranty, so I'm not worried about it for at least 4 years. It's just me, so it's the perfect size for when chicken and hamburger go on sale, and it'll be great when strawberry season hits!

Great Addition

Family of two. We needed more space in the freezer for our apartment. This freezer is skinner than the door frame. Light weight. I was able to bring alone. Came out of the box easily. Pulled the top box and took of Styrofoam platform. We have had it for a week and love it. Able to by the extras I like to have on hand.

Damage

Both freezer were damaged. Poor delivery.

ENERGY STAR RATED CHEST FREEZER

The chest freezer is the size we needed, and set up was quick, and easy! Its size is just right for someone needing extra freezer space.Three of the features of this chest freezer that are wonderful include that it is a garage-ready, Energy Star rated, and was priced on sale at a price that was very reasonable. It was also great that it shipped free directly to us, so we didn't have to deal with the store driver assigned to our delivery route, who has been very difficult to work with in the past...

Good size, great price!

I like the compact size of this unit. I live in an apartment and didn’t want too much space being taken up. This was the perfect size. I didn’t like that delivery took so long. I placed my order on December 9th with the expectation that it would be delivered December 13th. Delivery date changed to the 17th and then finally to the 18th.

This freezer doesn't work.

I've had it for less than a week and everything in the freezer is thawed. I bought it to store 16 pies I made for my dad's birthday over the span of several days. I gave the freezer plenty of time to cool down and froze the pies in the freezer compartment of the kitchen fridge before putting them in this chest freezer. Everything is thawed and I now have to make 16 more pies in one day.
