This is a plastic tub and it came defective
My contractor just installed this as an undermount under very expensive quartz material. The interior had heavy cardboard on top of the plastic wrap, so the tub bottom was protected during the install. After he removed the plastic wrap, we discovered that there are two areas at the interior rear of the tub where the plastic is broken, discolored, cracked and peeling out. Check the tub for damage before you get a plumber
The tub was cracked in 2 of the corners and had to be returned and reordered because they aren’t in stock. This means we now have to get the plumber back which will cost us more money.
