I was really inpressed with this replacement. All in one piece was a breeze to install.

No more running toilet

Kit was exactly what I needed. Easy to install and fixed the problem. No more running toilet and wasting water. Online ordering was easy and kit came relatively fast. Glad I installed Kohler genuine part - quality and exact fit.

Can't get it to stop leaking by the gasket

Lousy design I think the gasket is to thick. The China in the one piece tank is three eights thick

Terrible design

To avoid help breaking tabs, Customer Service advised soaking rubber seal/gasket/donut “in hot soapy water for 30 minutes.” After doing that, with much effort, was able to finally get unit into place…but barely. One tab seems to be hardly holding at all, but toilet works now. If you need a plumber to install it, have it soaked BEFORE he starts…unless you want to pay for waiting time. No instructions were provided. Customer Service was excellent.

Toilet flush valve.

I had to replace the fill valve and the flush valve on the toilets in the condo we purchased. Originally Ii thought the flapper on the fill valve was the problem for the constant. Replaced those but the problems persisted. Next I changed the flush valves; that solved the problems. The valves are difficult to remove and install. There is not much room in the tank to work on the valves( I don't have large hands). I had to push down on the valve to reduce the thickness of the gasket while twisting ...
