[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to replace a bathroom vent that was installed wrong and in the process I had to replace Sheetrock and paint over an area that had some mold and kilz did everything it was supposed to, I always prime areas with kilz before painting

Excellent coverage

Horrible worthless product. Do not buy!
The second l opened the brand new can l could tell this product was no longer the same quality primer it had been for the many years l have been using it. It was thin, had an oily appearance and had a tanish tint instead of being white. I mixed the heck out of it for 20 minutes but that did not help. Kilz had always been a trusted product for me in the past, so l tested it on an easy area hoping for the best. The area l applied it was a clean wall that had been painted white with one thin coat s...

Not recommended
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A consultant at Home Depot recommended this primer to me as the best way to cover up my previous beige paint. After two coats, I realized I'd need two more cans of the same primer for any positive results. Had I known, I would have just bought cheap paint and primer instead of wasting my time and money.

KIllz Never Disappoints
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a new build, and a few doors had weird oily stains near the bottom. Regular latex paint didn’t cut it, the marks kept bleeding through! I grabbed a can of Kilz primer, gave it two coats, and voilà, problem solved. Stain’s gone, doors look brand new. Kilz is a total lifesaver! Painted over with trim paint and they look like new.

Perfect start.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If your coverage is important, this is my first choice to block stains, dark colors and other things that keep colors from being true. One coat is usually enough. Don't skimp. Use kilz!
