KILZ 2 All-Purpose Interior/Exterior Multi-purpose Water-based Wall and Ceiling Primer ( 1-gallon )

My local Lowe’s told me it was being discontinued.

For me it’s the right primer for inside and outside jobs.

Not as potent as the original

Bought some on sale, for half off. Was rock hard on the bottom and unusable. Other times ive bought, it works OK, but if you are really trying to cover stains or old brown drywall the ORIGINAL Kilz is where its at.

This cover up primer/paint has always worked great for me.

I put this over a deep red. It did a good job.

primer grainy (maybe too old)

I bought a gallon on sale thinking it was a great price for half the original price. When I started applying it, a grainy/chalky material started to form which was very strange. I tried it again in a small amount in a different area with the same result so I knew there is something wrong with the product and that is why it was on sale for less than half price. Maybe it was too old. I cleaned up the small primed areas before they dried up and returned the product to the store.
