Select 100V, 250V, 500V, 1000V, or 2500V DC test voltage and measure insulation resistance from 0.1MΩ to 200.0GΩ. The 2500V output and extended 200GΩ range provide coverage for demanding preventive maintenance and commissioning work, while the additional 100V range supports lower-voltage equipment.
Built-in Dielectric Absorption Ratio (DAR) and Polarization Index (PI) calculations help evaluate insulation condition over time. Set a resistance threshold for an immediate PASS or FAIL result, use the timer for repeatable test intervals, and save or recall readings for easier documentation. Data hold, max/min readings, and a backlit display help keep results visible in the field.
The same tester measures up to 750V AC, 1000V DC, and 200Ω continuity with an audible alert below approximately 50Ω. Rated CAT IV 600V and CAT III 1000V, the KE2500 includes test leads, alligator clips, eight AA batteries, and a carrying case. It is backed by a 3-year limited warranty and lifetime technical support.
