Bought a set and few months in one of the two seems to slip and pop off at the worst time..was great when they worked and super convenient but went from a great addition to my workflow to a hassle and find myself reaching for a quick clamp instead..seems like the gear material wears out and would be great to be able to buy new pads for the clamps

Could be better
Clamps have a good hold but the painted bar creates some sticky spots as it wears. Also, the rubber pads slip off the clamp jaws fairly easy. I lost one and I can not find replacements.

Worthy of praise
I’ve been using these clamps for nearly ten years now, mostly in framing carpentry work. They have proved their value in so many situations and are a regular item I use on every job. Other workers often show interest after seeing how these clamps can speed progress and improve quality.
