Jorgensen 1-in Woodworking Chisel

Not sharp

Didn’t cut the wood. Had to use a hammer to smash my way thru the wood. One of the worst chisels I have used.

Sharp out of the box, true to size and feels like a higher quality chisel

Piece of crap

Third hit from a WOODEN mallet snapped the handle off. Ended up holding the chisel part with a pare of channel lock pliers and a 3 lb. hammer just to finish the job! (jobsite 43 miles from nowhere) Absolute garbage, unless there was a defect in production that I couldn't see.

As reliable as it was in the 1500’s

The chisel was a great tool to pickup for updating my old door handles. Helped tremendously getting doors to finally shut in my home.

Sharp edge

Keeps a sharp edge. I know, I know, I should be using a wooden mallet. But, you use what you have to. I had a ball peen hammer available, so I used that. The chisel's head showed no evidence of using the wrong tool (ball peen hammer).

Lowe’s has it all, very good price

I bought this item for my 9 year old grandson to complete a boys court project. The item was just the right size tool for a child and helped him learn about tool safety.

This Klein wood Chisel is a quality product.

This wood chisel was th best thing to use to use to remove the door frame to a sliding door.

Great little tool to keep on hand!

This works great, solid piece. Stayed together through the project. However, I am the problem and will not use again simply because I wrecked my door trying to use this to bore out a hinge hole... It's me not you.

Precision Chisel

Perfect size for adjusting the entry hole for a deadbolt.

Very sharp!

Really sharp right out of the box. I used this to trim leftover wood on an old windowsill in preparation for putting in a new sill and it worked a treat.
