Tough little Tractor

I bought the D140 last year toward the beginning of the mowing season and definitely don’t regret it. I purchased the front bumper and the mulch kit as well. My First JD.. LOVE IT!!

Bought my D-140 last week and I absolutely love it! Ranked high in Consumer Reports. D-140 in my opinion is the best of the "D" line John Deere tractors. The electronic blade engagement is fabulous! Worst Lawnmower I've Ever Owned

BTW, I only mow 1/2 acre, clean my tractor after every mow and store it under cover in shed. I bought this mower thinking that I was paying the extra money for added value......NOT! The first mowing season the spindles went bad and dealer said that you have to replace all 3.......$500.00. Average at best

I have had the d140 a little over a year. The main thing I would like to point out is that this mower doesn't like to mow high weeds. If you have a yard like mine, you have weeds in it that grow faster than the grass. When I go to mow it, a lot of the weeds don't get mowed. I finally figured out why. The deck is very narrow.
