Connected pots tough to transplant and too small

In theory, this is a great idea but other seed starting formats, like the 50mm netted pods/discs, are a lot easier to handle and better for your plants. These square pots are all connected, so you'll need to cut them apart (or try to tear them, which doesn't end well) and it's very disruptive to the tiny plants. For years I wanted to start seeds indoors because birds and varmints would eat my seeds and seedlings if I sowed in the garden, but I was worried about my cats messing with them - so I got this kit because it had a lid. Little did I realize how much faster the seeds would sprout due to being in a greenhouse! It was awesome! They’re ok

I would not recommend any type of peat pots if you’re trying to start peppers or any other vegetables. For some reason all my peppers start to dampen off every time I use these. There’s also the risk of damaging the root structure once your seedlings are ready to be up-potted. They might be suitable for flowers or other plants though.

But the trays seperate and then buy a box of serran wrap to wrap the trays. Much better than this kit. You can also buy a pan to set your cartoons in and wrap. The lid on this kit is ny only issue vecquae the clear cap doesnt sit flush with the pan.

This is unusable for it's designed purpose

The clear plastic top is EXTREMELY THIN and the way that they nest them together the edges that go over the bottom tray are folded over by the packaging and permanently damaged. It's really a waste of money even at $5. Egg cartons with saran wrap tops holds up better.

I like how you can rip apart the pots and plant them into the ground. I did not know that you could do that, except a friend of mine showed me we could do it. Pretty cool.

Perfect, especially for those new to gardening!

I used these to start melons & green bean seeds. I saw progress on 2-3 days. Lid is light, so I kept them indoors until the lid could be removed.

Made cheap covers don't work!!

I found this to be a cheap piece of garbage as it is flimsy and the covers don't work!! Don't waste your money on this!!

Waste of Money

This is not worth the money. The dome is a joke, will not even stay put it a light breeze. Just buy the peat pots you need, skip this silly "kit".
